Learning builds upon current knowledge, and as we are
exposed to new ideas, information, and skills we use our past knowledge as a
stepping stone. Each step upward on a
ladder expands a person’s view and reach while broadening their ability to perform
a task at a different level. As an individual continues their journey of lifelong
learning this broadens their ability to see, live, and contribute to society in
a greater capacity.
A ladder is a piece of equipment that has limited benefit if
not used to its fullest potential. When
a ladder is utilized it can help an individual fix, build, and access things
they may have thought was beyond their reach.
The same principle may apply to a person in regard to learning. By utilizing their resources, they are then
capable of reaching their fullest potential.
