“The educated differ from the
uneducated as much as the
living differ from the dead.”
-Aristotle
To be educated means an individual continually engages, interacts, and responds to the environment in a way that creates change in their intellectual, spiritual, emotional, or physical existence. The lifelong pursuit of education is expressed by how someone continually utilizes, understands, acquires, and interacts with new information. The more I read, learn, and interact with others the more I realize the deficiency of my education. However, as someone who enjoys learning I continue to strive for holistic educational growth and development so that I may fully contribute to society.
